Back in May 2012 I was worrying that I was going to have open heart surgery!
The first things I was told by the consultant cardiologist when I was
referred to him following my heart scan was that my aortic valve was going
to need replacing. Today, while seeing my GP to follow up on another scan
by the cardiologist the words used were, 'mild' and 'at most moderate'!
'Let's continue to observe...'
Why don't they think before they give people the worst case scenario?
As my GP said, 'it is hard to tell these days what is 'normal' because there
are such detailed tests available showing that we are all different!
